4 New Home Communities in North Escondido
Escondido is seeing a lot of new home building in the North Escondido area. East of Daley Ranch and just south of Jesmond Dene Park and the Reidy Creek Golf Course are four new home communities that are planned, under construction or currently selling.
Shea Homes is in the process of site work for their 2 communities of new single family homes. They include The Estates and Canyon Grove and Heritage at Canyon Grove. The Estates will include 82 new homes from 2,891 to 4,082 Sq. Ft. Heritage at Canyon Grove will include 96 new single family homes ranging from 2,296 to 3,402 Sq. Ft. From the looks of the amount of site work remaining I would estimate that they may be able to begin construction on their models soon with sales starting possibly late this year or early 2017. Sorry, but no more details available at this time.
Lexington in Escondido has opened for sale. Lexington by KB Home will feature 43 one and two story single family homes in north Escondido. Pradera by Lennar is currently selling 70 new homes in this Escondido neighborhood. Sales and construction is ongoing with close to half of the community sold. There is a decent mix of single story and two story homes on a hilly site offering various elevations and some good views for each lot. Homes range in size from 2,406 to 3,606 Sq. Ft., with 4 to 5 bedrooms and 3 to 4 bathrooms. Lennar offers their “Everything’s Included” home, allowing the home buyer with a high spec level of included features. Current prices start in the low $700,000s. There is no Mello Roos!
Calvin Christian School, Escondido High School, Rincon Middle School are all nearby. It is just a short drive to the I-15 and downtown Escondido. The location of all these Escondido new home communities offer a rural feeling, close to everything.
